Bob Edwards

B.A. Youth Ministry - Moody Bible institute (1995)
M.Div. Northern Baptist Theological Seminary (2001)
Ordained through the A.B.C 2002
Reverend Bob Edwards grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. In high school, Bob accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and, soon after, heard the Lord's call to ministry. Bob graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a youth ministry degree and received his master's of divinity from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary. Bob served as a youth pastor in several area churches before joining the staff at ACS Sycamore as a junior high and high school Bible teacher.
He has recently married his wife, Chrissie, and together they have five children: Carter, Peyton, Ainsley, Avery, and Ella. All their children have attended Aurora Christian schools; two of their children are ACS graduates. Bob feels blessed to teach and raise his children in a Christ-centered school that teaches a Biblical worldview. He is thankful to work as a teacher in what he describes as "the best ministry in the world," where he can share the Bible and the love of Jesus Christ every day.
In addition to teaching full-time at ACS, Bob currently serves as a pastor in a wonderful, small-town church in Manlius, IL. In his free time, he enjoys watching his kids compete in volleyball and playing in a sand volleyball league himself during the summer. He also loves working on old cars, especially his '69 Mustang, and is a self-proclaimed movie nerd.
